– WINNERS OF SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS KORTRIJK 2026 –
The Best Innovation Award 2026 went to Qurmit for an industrial lead-gel battery solution developed and manufactured in the Netherlands, offering an alternative to lithium batteries. The solution’s key advantage is its high level of fire safety, even under extreme conditions. As a result, no specific additional fire safety measures are required, and the QurmitXL can be safely installed indoors. The jury particularly appreciated the solution’s practical applicability and distinctive character.
The Best Promotion Award 2026 was presented to GridSync/Yuso for the way the company leveraged its own network and relationships to attract visitors to its stand.
